Our collaborations
MareVivo special partnership
Since 2014, MareVivo and Ecotyre have been working tirelessly to recover illegally abandoned tires in Italian coastal areas through their PFU #PneumaticiFuoriUSo Zero project. This extraordinary effort involves collecting tires on land and at sea, in collaboration with municipal administrations, Port Authorities, diving groups, the Navy, and marine protected areas, and sending them for correct recovery, without any cost to the municipalities. In the last two years we have also cleaned the port area and surroundings of the castle of Porto Palermo, raising awareness of environmental issues. This year, we are organizing similar interventions in Albania, specifically at Porto Palermo, in collaboration with MareVivo, to contribute to freeing the territories from abandoned tires and other harmful waste. This is a call to citizens to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the marine ecosystem and promoting proper recycling practices for tires and other damaging materials, in order to safeguard our seas. Olen Cesari, a master violinist, has also been a long-time supporter of MareVivo's causes, including the protection of the sea and rivers, conservation of biodiversity, environmental education, and sustainable development. Some time ago, Olen Cesari envisioned an extraordinary journey through the most famous masterpieces of world music and images of the sea, its wonders, and its wounds, for MareVivo Association's charity evening at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome. Accompanied by the International Clandestine Orchestra and joined by other renowned artists, including Simone Cristicchi, Elsa Lila, Kledi Kadiu, and Massimo di Cataldo, Olen's notes on the violin guided the audience through the waves of sound and visuals. This concert event was dedicated to the sea, reminding everyone of their responsibility to protect and preserve it for future generations, and showcasing the power of art in promoting sustainability and environmental awareness.
